lectors

Calling all lectors. The most current schedule was placed on hold when Masses resumed in June.  Please call the office if you are ready to come back to the ministry so that we can know when we can send out schedules to resume.  Currently, we are relying on a small handful of lectors  who have returned. When you are ready, you are most welcome back to your ministry.

Lectors bring life to the written Word of God. Those who proclaim God's word in the liturgy are known as Ministers of the Word or Lectors. Answering the call to become a lector enters one into a deeper relationship with God as He is revealed in sacred scripture.
To be lector is a commitment of service.
Basic Requirements & Responsibilities:
  • Confirmed Catholic and registered member of the parish
  • Feel called by the Holy Spirit to proclaim God's Word
  • Prepare and proclaim God's Word for assigned liturgies
